U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Climate Change and Healthy Equity (OCCHE), in partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), launched a first-of-its-kind national data dashboard called the Heat-Related Illness EMS Activation Surveillance Dashboard that maps emergency medical services (EMS) responses to heat-related illness across the country.
