Discharge and Use

Beginning on July 1, 2021, no person, local government, or agency shall discharge or use AFFF for training, subject to some exceptions, or testing purposes.  AFFF can only be used for testing purposes if the facility has implemented appropriate containment, treatment, and disposal measures to prevent releases of AFFF into the environment.
