Enhance Personnel Policies and Procedures

VFIS Logo 287 Rbg

Written personnel policies and procedures provide direction and outline expectations to the members/employees of an organization.  Such policies and procedures set a standard in an organization as to what is and isn’t acceptable.  Though your organization has some written personnel policies and procedures in place, it was noted at the time of the survey there are some topics that should be included but are absent.

Subjects such as ‘retaliation’, ‘workplace violence’, ‘telephone and communications usage’ and ‘employment-at-will’ create liability exposure to an organization.  Addressing these items in existing written personnel policies and procedures reduces that exposure. Your organization should enhance its standing policies and procedures to include these topics.
