Ensuring that all vehicle operators have safe driving records is an integral risk control method for Emergency Service Organizations (ESO).

During the survey, it was noted that your ESO does not complete MVR checks on new or existing vehicle operators.

We recommend implementing an MVR evaluation process including:

* Establish written criteria to be used for MVR evaluations

* Implement MVR checks during the initial / new hire process

* Implement ongoing / annual MVR checks for all vehicle operators
