Server Training Requirements
The service of alcoholic beverages during your organization's fund raising event provides significant potential legal liabilities to your organization. It could not be verified that the servers currently monitoring the alcohol during event has received any recognized server training. Organizations that provide or serve alcohol have legal obligations to make sure that alcohol is consumed in a responsible manner and that individuals that appear to be impaired are identified and handled in an appropriate manner.
VFIS recommends all persons or members that serve as bartenders should receive some type of recognized server training, RAMPS, TIPS, TAM immediately and have this training maintained up to date.
