Supervisor and Officer Training on Employment Practice Liability
Supervisors and officers in any given organization are held to a higher standard than front-line employees. In addition to basic employment practices liability training, supervisors and officers should be provided training in such areas as performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures, termination and dismissal procedures, and record management.
It was noted during the recent survey of your organization that formal employment liability training has not been offered to the supervisors. VFIS recommends management consider provide training opportunities to your supervisors and captains through regular case/scenario and policy reviews.
